After Validating the Business Model, the biggest challenge a Startup faces is SELLING.  In this workshop we will discuss how to get  your customers interested in your Value Proposition and how to convert them into paying customers.  After all, there is no business if we don't have clients, right? 

Luis from MLGTS law firm will talk about venture capital investments from the perspective of the founders. The ultimate purpose is to give out useful pointers on out to render any term sheet more founder-friendly. The workshop will be largely based on real life “war stories” and will derive from years of dealing with and advising start-ups and investors on a daily basis. Market standards (what’s normal and what it not) and current trends will be analyzed and relied upon throughout the session.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

For every startup, growth is the most important component for success. And digital marketing is the most important tool startups can use to achieve that growth. Companies like Zaask, Uniplaces, Chic by Choice and FixeAds are doing well because they were able to grasp the power of digital marketing. Google Solutions will be hosting a workshop on our campus to demonstrate and teach how Search Engine Marketing (SEM) can take your B2C company to the next level. SEM know-how is absolutely critical for startups and companies in this day and age.

The workshop will consist of 1 hour instruction on SEM taught by Google practitioners and 1 hour of question and answer.

Many projects in the creative industries and the arts start out as excellent ideas and then disappear because they can’t produce a good enough proposal to obtain the necessary funding. Aimed at producers, promoters, managers, entrepreneurs and creators in any of the creative industries, these workshops offer participants the chance to develop their own project from the idea to the concrete proposal, with a methodology that can be used in future projects. There will be an introductory session, followed by 4 practical workshops and a final session for the public presentation of the best projects.
